Water Save System for ecovillages in Ukraine

GEN Ukraine's water resilience project supports 9 ecovillages across 7 regions with community-built systems: rainwater harvesting, wells, swales, and lake restoration. Over 65,000 L of water storage was installed, 4 wells drilled, and 3 wetland systems restored. These decentralized, low-cost solutions strengthen food security, biodiversity, and climate adaptation in war-affected rural Ukraine.
