This hypercert represents the contribution of ''Testing Hypercerts for FIL-RetroPGF-2'' to the Filecoin ecosystem from September 2024 to February 2025 and its overall impact. As part of our preparation for Filecoin RetroPGF Round 2, we conducted a series of tests to ensure the smooth deployment and functionality of hypercerts within the Filecoin ecosystem. Steffi Seefeld is a passionate advocate for deep human connection and transformation. During ZuConnect, she hosted many sessions to help ZuConnect attendees connect more deeply with themselves and other attendees.

ZuConnect 2023: Shaka's Ukele Experiences

It was a very enjoyable opportunity to use the theater space for music jams throughout the event in the mornings and evenings. Shaka lent his experience in stage managing to support the flow and audio setup for the theater. In order to have an impact on the local community, the music classes were open to everyone on the ground floor; more locals came during the first days than Zuzalu residents. Additionally, as a way of giving back to the community on the 20th, a school visit is being arranged to donate ukuleles and one of the Minoa Pera security guards will translate the music classes.

ZuConnect 2023: Group Hamam Organizing by Morgan

Morgan organised an authentic Turkish Islamic cultural experience and stress-relief/wellness activity that about 30 people got to enjoy. He found one of just two co-ed Hamams in all of Istanbul that would take mixed groups. He coordinated the group, paid for the deposit, and dealt with last-minute cancellations. He provided cultural and religious context as to the significance of hamam culture and bathing in Turkey. He concluded: “I'm thrilled to have shared a favorite wellness activity! Also it was SO COOL meeting some beautiful and inspiring Zuzalans over shared love of bathing culture!”

ZuConnect 2023: Fitness and Circling by Victoria

For 10 days Victoria led the fitness classes for Zuzalians. She planned the classes, taught them, prepared the space and made sure it's clean afterwards. These classes were designed to encourage residents to pick up a new habit and stay consistent, also it was a good way to start the day on the rooftop. Victoria hosted 2 Circling sessions to foster and encourage more connection in the community. She scouted the location, coordinated with everyone to find the location, be on time and enjoy the session. For the second session she bought snacks and water for everyone. Victoria recorded 6 short interviews with residents asking about their experience at zuconnect. She will create an aftermovie :)

The ZuConnect team did a deep search of Istanbul for scouting of location, built local partnerships especially with Minoa Pera team to make a hospitable engaging environment, identified and supported topic track coordinators, identified and supported volunteer coordinators, organized lots of activities for the community, managed budget, managed communications, and so much more.
